Liefhebbers, kenners \u00e9n jonge talenten streden deze avond om de felbegeerde Huber van der Weegen-wisselbokaal.<\/p>\n<p>Iedere deelnemer kreeg 1 uur de tijd om de 12 soorten Buitenlandse kaas te keuren, herkennen en onderzoeken. De deelnemers beoordelen ieder soort op 6 categorie\u00ebn: naam van de kaas, soort\/type kaas, melksoort, melkbehandeling (au lait cru of pasteurise), vetgehalte en kwaliteit. Iedere categorie kent een vast aantal punten; er zijn maximaal 360 punten te verdienen, degene met de hoogste score wint. Voor de Young Talents is de wedstrijd iets eenvoudiger; een voorwaarde is wel dat dat deze deelnemer niet langer dan 1 jaar werkzaam is in de branche.<\/p>\n<p>We zijn daarom bijzonder blij dat de 1<sup>e<\/sup> prijs van de Young Talent Award gewonnen is door Melle Vink. Melle is in de zomer van 2024 gestart op de verkoopbinnendienst en een echte Cheese lover! Hij leert de kneepjes van het vak achter zijn bureau, door het meedraaien in speciaalzaken en op beurzen. Met 266 punten wist hij de 1<sup>e<\/sup> prijs van de Young Talent Award in de wacht te slepen.
