Sustainability is reached by, among other things, the recovery and reuse of heat and cold from installations, the use of solar energy, LED lighting and the planting of more than 100 mature trees around the distribution center.
Maaz Cheese BV has received the MVO Quality Mark certificate. This ISO 26000-based quality mark includes all kinds of CSR aspects, assesses the performance and the (possible) improvements. We must demonstrate that we achieve the goals we set. This will be examined during subsequent audits. In this way we stay focused to continuously make improvements for people and the environment.
